Microneedling

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling creates microscopic punctures in the skin. Simply put, microneedling is the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for the purposes of rejuvenation.

Microneedling may help address many skin-related complaints, including:
  • Wrinkles
  • Scarring
  • Acne
  • Alopecia
  • Skin pigmentation issues
  • Stretch marks
  • Rosacea
  • Loose skin, such as after weight loss or liposuction

Microneedling increases the production of collagen and other healing factors by causing trauma to the skin.

Collagen is an essential protein that helps keep the skin looking youthful, with a firm, smooth, and stretchy texture.

Aging causes the decline of collagen in the skin, contributing to wrinkles and other signs of aging.

Skin can also lose collagen due to injuries, such as acne scarring, stretch marks, or other scars.

At Vanité Clinic we offer a personalised treatment for each client.

Our specialist throughout the consultation will undertake an in-depth analysis of the skin, fully explain the treatment and offer post treatment advice.

1. PRE-TREATMENT ( deep cleansing skin )

It is necessary to prepare the skin before the treatment to increase the efficacy of the treatment. This cleansing helps rid the skin of unwanted build-up of oil, toxins, dirt, bacteria, and all skin cell debris – all of which contribute to unwanted skin conditions like acne and premature aging.

Our skin specialist will undertake a Swedana therapy, a facial, exfoliate and mask application. This will help refresh and renew all skin types (dry, normal, mix and oily) on a level you just can’t achieve at home.

2 . MICRONEEDLING ( procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin )

Once the skin is clean the specialist will numb the skin to proceed the personalised plan for a more comfortable procedure.

The purpose of the treatment is to penetrate deep into the dermis to generate new collagen and skin tissue which will then allow for smoother, firmer, more toned skin.

Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may treat various scars, wrinkles, large pores and pigmentation with the help of the right lotion and specialist techniques.

3 . AFTER-TREATMENT (deep moisturise )

To enhance microneedling, the specialist will apply a facial cold mask, hydrate and massage. This will help with relaxing the skin and stimulate the blood circulation. Which will in turn help with the healing process and boost collagen production to the maximum.

Your skin will be glowing, clean and fresh after your treatment. You will start to notice significant difference in your skin from the first treatment after 4 weeks.

The specialist will guide your expectation and recommend a beneficial plan.
