You need to self isolate until you have received a negative result.

Our health care professionals will take a swab from inside your throat and nose. This swab is then tested for the virus itself and identifies the Viral DNA. The results are available within 48 hours.

This swab test detects active presence of the virus i.e. shows that you currently have COVID-19 or not.

Swabs are analysed in a laboratory with results back in 3 working days.

UK Citizens Only: UK Fully Vaccinated Non-Red Arrivals into England: Day 2 PCR Test

• UK Arrivals – Day 2 Test (If fully vaccinated & arriving in England on or after 19th July 2021 & a UK Citizen)
• Required for arrivals from Non-Red listed countries from the 19th July 2021 if fully vaccinated with two Covid-19 vaccines (at least 14 days prior.)
• These tests can be used by both adults who are fully vaccinated and for Children aged 5 years and above regardless of vaccination status.

Who should take this test?

• If you have returned from international travel abroad from an Non-Red listed country & have had two Covid-19 vaccines (from the UK NHS) at least 14 days prior to departure.
• You live in England and have been vaccinated in the U.K.
• Children aged 5-18 years returning from an Amber country.

All Non-UK Residents

At present, if you are not from England (regardless of your vaccination status) you are required to undertake Non-Red Arrival Tests as per the country classification. Even after the 19th July 2021.

You must order your Day 2 test before you return to the UK. Failure to do so may incur fines and other penalties. You can order your tests as early as is convenient for you, and we will ship them to you on the required days or can be collected by your representative at Vanité Clinic.

When you order your tests, we will ask you to provide details about yourself and your journey. You will then receive a unique reference number, which you must enter on your passenger locator form before you arrive in the UK.

When will I receive my test kits?

Your tests will be sent separately in accordance with Government guidelines. We will dispatch your Day 2 test kit to you by post on the day before you arrive in the UK. It should arrive on Day 0, the day you arrive in the UK. You must take this test anytime between when you arrive in the UK and Day 2 of your quarantine.

Please note that, by law, we cannot send your tests to you earlier than this. You should, however, order your tests as early as possible, prior to your arrival in the UK.

What should I do when I receive my test kit?

Please read the instructions included in your test kit carefully. You should then collect your sample using the swab provided and send it to our laboratory on the same day using the postage-paid return envelope or alternatively you can get someone to drop off the test samples at Vanité Clinic before 2:00 PM.

How will I receive my results?

We will send you an email as soon as your results are ready providing documentation showing proof of results.

What if I test positive for Covid-19?

You must self-isolate for 10 days from the day after your test date, even if you do not have symptoms of Covid-19. People who you live with or are travelling with should also self-isolate for 10 days.

What if I change my mind?

As Day 2 testing is a legal requirement, you are required to show your Vanité Clinic Confirmation Number to your airline. Cancellations will only be accepted 48 hours before your time of departure to the United Kingdom. We are unable to process any cancellation after this time due to UK Government requirements.

• Passport and photo is clearly visible
• Result of Day 2 test is clearly visible
